PIMEC and the Minister of Economy and Finance, Alícia Romero, met to discuss measures to promote the growth of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Catalonia. During the meeting, they agreed to establish working groups to improve the tax system and facilitate compliance with tax obligations, as well as to reduce bureaucracy and enhance the relationship between businesses and the administration. PIMEC emphasized the need for a fairer tax system and improvements in access to financing, highlighting the role of the Catalan Institute of Finance as a public investment bank for business growth.
